We had the opportunity to memorialize Shep and donate to the Heartland Humane Society. Shep's brick was recently installed and we took a trip out to visit. We comment often about how difficult losing our little buddy has been. 9 months later and we still experience waves of grief and miss his presence in our lives and home.
I miss old Shep Dog too. He was one of the most gentle dogs I've ever known. Your memorial is a lasting tribute to an important family friend. We miss KACY our former kitty and have his ashes at the beach in a nice mahogany box with a couple photos. Good pets are special. Larry
ReplyDeleteWe miss Shep Dog so much; so many raft trips and shared memories with Misty Girl. They were such good buddies. We will miss his presence when you come to visit next week, but he remains in our hearts. A lovely tribute to your special four legged friend. Mom
