In March 2009 Jay decided it was time to take down some trees. He decided on two Sweet Gum trees bordering the front yard and a Blue Spruce from the center of the front yard. Each of the Sweet Gums was over 50 feet tall and had been planted in the 2 foot wide parking strip between the sidewalk and the street. With sidewalk and street damage already underway, it was time to get down to business.
With a lot of help from Barclay and Matt Wyss the trees were felled in no time! After a little stump grinding the house was able to receive much more light (and less leaves to rake wasn't a bad bonus)!
